On 1 March 2018, ACCIONA Construction held a summit with representatives from the China Academy of Building Research and the National Centre for International Research of Low-carbon & Green Buildings. This event was the perfect opportunity to get to know each other’s potential and look for possible collaboration. The China Academy of Building Research (CABR) is the largest and most diverse research institution in building industry in China.
In this framework, and overview of the FISSAC project was presented to the Chinese delegation, and further discussions about possible collaboration were debated during the round table session.
The Chinese delegation was very interested in FISSAC’s approach to cover the whole construction value chain. They pointed out the potential Chinese market for FISSAC solutions due to the large volumes of materials involved in construction of buildings and wastes generated. They are open to collaborate in further initiatives and the Chinese Government is open to support opportunities of collaboration with European projects.
