Around 20 participants representing different stakeholders in the construction sector gathered on the 27th of October in Floda, a small town near Gothenburg, Sweden. One of the basics of the living lab process is to take the participants out from the familiar office environment, to the “field” and to the projects where circular economy principles are being implemented. The first living lab meeting was therefore hosted by Garveriet a Swedish pilot-case living lab that strives to become a centre of sustainable development and a hub of ecosystem-inspired businesses. The International Workshop “Trends and opportunities in the construction sector” took place on 22 November 2016 at the Headquarters of ACCIONA Infrastructure S.A. In order to catch the attention of a wide audience, the workshop was entitled “Trends and Opportunities in the Construction Sector”, and speakers from FP7 and H2020 Projects were invited together with other talks which were out of the framework of European-funded projects. On 22 November 2016, Construction Products Europe organised a workshop featuring the European Commission and three EU-funded projects, to highlight current and future work.
ACR+ participated presenting the FISSAC project which aims to develop a methodology and software platform to support industrial symbiosis networks and to replicate pilot schemes at local and regional levels. (more…)
An International Worshop on “Trends and Opportunities in the Construction Sector” will be held at the ACCIONA headquarters in Madrid on 22 November 2016.
This 1-day event will bring together the main players in construction innovation (large companies and SMEs, universities, technological centers, entrepreneurs, consultancies, technological platforms and clusters). The specific aim of this seminar is to present the international trends and opportunities in the construction sector, allowing participants in the workshop to network and develop partnerships. (more…)
