In recent months, the European Commission and European Parliament have financed numerous initiatives on or around the topic of resource efficiency in the construction industry, more particularly looking at waste and recycling. In order to give you a full picture of these projects and their latest news, Construction Products Europe will organise a resource efficiency workshop on 22nd November in Brussels. The event will include detailed presentations by Commission officials and by the HISER, BAMB and FISSAC projects, in addition to a debate, where we will look into the project recommendations and the approach of industry. «Cities of the Future / İstanbul 2016« Brokerage Event brought together 300 researchers, industry professionals, government officials and policy makers from Europe and Turkey. The event was meant as a wider concept that encompasses cities’ overall energy and resource efficiency with profound economic, social and environmental impacts, resulting in a better quality of life.
